Today is April Fool day, 1st of April. Strange! I did not get any April Fool messages both on my mobile and in my email. I also did not have any ideas to fool others. In contrast to last year, it was just a silent day. No fun. No creative ideas for April Fool. Perhaps, everybody is sinking deeply in the current of popular global recession.

Last Monday, our project PM asked us for showing the situation of learning Microsoft Sharepoint - you won't know how stupid that product is - to him on this day. At today afternoon presentation session, he did not satisfied with my result. We have been running with self-study for nearly a month. To me, learning and mastering the basic is the most important. After getting the strong basic, the rest, all the advance things, will not be hard to understand. Despite the Sharepoint is new technology for us, he wanted us to implement the advance features by asking continuously for it. I said more than one time that BASIC is more important. He said that he accepted but still blindly asking for advance features. Something might be misunderstood between us. I do not like Microsoft Sharepoint though it is getting popular. I am a C# .Net developer. I have many things to learn about new features of C#, SQL and, also, I have to find the beautiful mystery of Design Pattern. However, I will have to make him satisfied with Sharepoint next week. Bullshit!

Last year, NCS, my company, bought more than a 90% stake of SCS (Singapore Computer System), and today is the first day of actual combining of the two companies. It started from 4:30 pm and ended at 6:00 pm. CEO was giving a speech; people were busy with talking. As I did not listen carefully, I got only a few words like the Company is still strong. Good news! Isn't it? After it, a group of staffs and then all the NCS leaders, including CEO, sang a song, named 'Hand in Hand'. Of course, it was not good to listen. :) It seemed like everybody was waiting for the buffet session. As feeling tired of walking around, I went up to my room and read the articles on the internet.

At 28th Feb, I made a rule that I would not visit to the blogs and news sites for one month, and I did it. Gtalk had got the same rule. It had ended yesterday. So, I visited to some of my friends' blogs this morning, but as the benefit of staying away the whole month from them, I did not have a passion for going to many other blogs and news sites. Good news too, right? :P I did it with hoping to improve my skills in English by using the time in learning English instead. I went to the NLB (National Library) at early days of last month, took several kinds of How-to books - 6 or 7. Among them, the book - 'Perfect Written English' by Chris West - gave me a lot of lessons. It made me to feel that I came to know something about English. I do not think my writing skill is good, but now, I feel more comfortable despite of still having errors.

OK, let's go on.
