It has been 23 days that I do not sign in this blog for a new post. No, I even did not come to my home page. I had things to do, things to learn, and things to improve. I decided not to visit to every blog which is written in Burmese, and every news sites too. No Exception. I was very disappointed for my poor skill in English. I cannot talk fluently. I cannot write correctly. I can listen but it does not include a perfect understanding. That's why, I determinedly stuck to reading the blogs and news sites which are written in English. But this will not going for months.
Having just a few friends in the MM Blog Society, I have not much people who will come and urge me to come back. I think I am lucky - hope nobody will think that I am nutty. Since I have started writing this blog, excluding friends from real world, I have only three - Gyittu, Pandora, PonYate - who give consistent support. To be honest, that is great! I have got real-three out of this blog.
I also get myself away from gtalk to avoid wasting too much time of my daily life, except using two times in these days: one for my best friend from Yangon, and the other for my Dad. I feel it is a kind of peace that not clinging to gtalk and waiting for someone to make a conversation. Less and less accounts in my gtalk list helped to strengthen my decision.
Instead, I used these time for reading the books. Since the start of my days in Singapore, there are only three types of books, or articles, which I commonly read: one relating to Computer Science and IT; one about Politic and Political Science; and the other for Buddha Dhamma. Off cause, I read some posts from the good blogs, and from my friends' blogs too.
Surely, these areas are really wide, complicated, and deep to learn. It is taking time to understand even the basic concept of them. But I never think that I can grab and master them within a short time. I am not a genius. But no doubt that I have seen some people have proved that they can. Proud of it, but I am not them too.
Though it has not been very seriously, I have been studying to Buddha Dhamma for nearly 7 years. It may not be a short period for some people. But it is just enough time, for me, to understand the basic. As the Buddha Dhamma is not a philosophy nor a -ism, what I am doing - thinking or reading - is not enough for mastering. Much more miles ahead of me to go.
Hope to be continued.

Well. I have read your new post. Right now, I do not know who you are. What you are doing. But will discuss with you some issue. You said that you want to improve your English and you do not want to read Myanmar blog feeling that make you reduce your skill. May be. My English also not very good but I think anyway you can understand what I want to talk.
Yes. Cheer! Not log in for the blog for three weeks. Wonderful. Great. It will save your time a lot. I presume. I do agree with you.
Since I started my blog I am not reading any Myanmar book , magazine, household things. My health. Social things all effected. My carrier also effected. I stopped reading my carrier for quite some time.
Ok.. This issue is quite difficult to discuss. But anyway I support you. Keep on.!
႔Ye-Baw :)
Sometimes, we make choices in life and should be determined enough to stick to them no matter what happens. I am really happy to know that you are trying to improve yourself in the areas that you feel you are weak at.
All of us need to keep changing to be better. For me, I tell myself that I must live this short life in the most fulfilling way by doing things that give me a sense of fulfillment.
I will always remember this proverb which I read somewhere when I was in college: "When you were born you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice."
Ye-Baw ... With like-minded friends like you, I am sure my life will be full of great moments. I wish you to have the same too. You are still young and the whole future lies ahead of you. Let us walk together to the goals that we have set out to achieve. All the best! :)
Yeah, you are right. For me, I blog due to my passion for Burmese literature. I could have used my blogging time in somewhere else, like watching TV, reading books, chatting with friends on the phone or even doing physical exercises. To extend my social network wasn’t included in my initial reasons for blogging. Yet having like-minded friends in blogosphere, like you, is a blessing. However, as I have tons to things to improve in my real life, I am seriously considering how to balance time for hobby and life. My beloved master told me the other day – Doing what you love to do in your leisure time is fine. However, this should be a supportive factor to energize yourself for your daily tasks. Hobby should not bring burden or negative impact on your real life. – Well, things get worse when one has various hobbies and interest. Good luck and go ahead, man!
I'm glad you come back. As Ma Pan suggested, I strongly believe a hobby is a hobby and that's part of your daily life. Yes, I gave up certain things for blogging but I don't mind giving up those things. As long as you do it in moderate amount, it should be ok.
Heyy count me in , I'm also one of your true fun , man :P
I dun come to your blog daily, say honest but I like to read your blog being a friend. So it really doesn't matter to blog regularly. Like this time,u're doing very great.

Hi Ma Kin Oo May,
Thanks a lot for ur support.
Ah. I don't mean that reading the blogs written in Burmese makes me poor in my English skill. Formerly, I was going around to the blogs or Burmese news sites every night. It used a lot of my time. I just want to reduce it. As you know, there are just a few blogs in MM Blog Society which are written in English and also only some Burmese news sites have choice for English Language. So, sticking myself to reading only to them save my time a lot, and I also get a good habit of reading Burmese news in English. That's why I decided to stay away from the MM blogs, but sure, it won't be going for long time. This is just an endeavour to improve my English. :D
hey.. Ye Baw...
Thanks! It's true. I am really happy for being a friend with u. I am thinking, we all should have met earlier. :)
Pandoyar,
True, during these days, one of my string of serious thought is about "BALANCE". ah.. yap, the word - having interesting in various things- warns me but that is what I am. I can't get escape. :P
Yes, hope to be okay, Pon Yate. But I am not sure to be balance (moderate amount). :D
Soe kyi, you r friends from MDY,I know you well and I know you like to read my blog. . hel.. hel. :P :P
