Dear Ba Gyi San

How are you?

It has been a long time that I don't even write a letter to you. Though I knew, you will be waiting for my letter, it was very difficult for me to write a letter since last year - every day was full of sadness and disappointment. I remember, the last time I sent a letter to you was a day last August, slightly over 1 year ago. Since then, I have a lot of things to share with you but they are not going according to the way I want.

As I mentioned in my previous letters, this - small but developed - country has a lot of things to learn from both good or bad aspects. You laughed me when I told you about my feeling at the time I see this country's developments. Everything emerges from nothing makes me impress, on the other hand, their social problems in the society warn me not to follow, and make me respect to our own culture. Beside, with the given slim freedom, I wonder it will lead this country to a difficult situation in the future. Yes, Ba Gyi San, I also do believe what you told me that our homeland can be one of the best nations in Asia, if we have a government of free ,equal and good. One day, I do believe all the goodness will be materialized. Yes, Deal! Ba Gyi San.

Ba Gyi San, do you know that I am facing a downturn at work? But I never forget that I am a Burmese and never give up in this kind of situation. Now I am trying to recover, but it is still a big problem to decide where I ought to go. I really admire you because you could make a strong decision even when you were younger than my age, and followed it without betraying.

You know, Ba Gyi San, now this tiny country is also facing the global financial crisis which was started from United States by some greedy companies, perhaps, you have already known about it. I have been heard that some of the foreign workers, including Burmese, are unemployed as a consequence of the crisis. The experts say following year will be worse than now. There will be more troubles for our Burmese. I don't mean to make you sad and worry. Yes, Ba Gyi San, there are a lot to tell you about global recession, DR Congo civil war, US president election, and about Burmese inside, or outside. But I don't want to tell about them now. I will do in the next letters and wait for it :) .
